Mrs. Black’s Rites
Set For Thursday At Oak Grove
Died: 30 Dec 1958 / Baldwin County, Georgia, USA
Funeral services for Mrs. Etta Phillips Black, age 62, who
passed away Tuesday, were conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist
Church. Rev. Harvey Gayton, Rev. Griffin
Crumley and Rev. Bethel Greenway will officiate.
Serving as pallbearers were Charles Black, Kay Black, Dane
Black, Wendell Black, Quillian Millsap and Clyde Grimsley.
The deceased is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Reese Crumbley, Mrs. J.W. Patterson,
Mrs. Allen Benson, Miss Bobbie Black; a son, Phillip Black, a sister, Mrs.
Mamie Phillips and 11 grandchildren, all of Cartersville and Bartow County.
Interment took place in Sunset Memory Gardens with Owen
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
