W.A. Stepp Rites Thursday in Fannin County (s/b W.M. Stepp)

Funeral services for Mr. William A. Stepp were held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Sugar Creek Baptist Church in Fannin County with Rev. Luther Thomas officiating.

Grandsons of the deceased served as pallbearers.

Mr. Stepp passed away at the home of his son, Rev. Claude Stepp in Atco on Tuesday after a lingering illness.

Other survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Ida Ledford, Mrs. Ethel Callahan, Blue Ridge, a number of grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Josie Davies, Atlanta; three brothers:  Lewis Stepp, Harrison Stepp, Cleveland, Tenn.; Rylie Stepp, South Carolina.

Interment was in the church cemetery with Owen Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
