Mrs. L.J. Kimsey’s Funeral
Service Sun. At Cassville
Died 3 Jan 1959 / Bartow County, Georgia, USA
Funeral Services for Mrs. J.L. Kimsey, a beloved resident of
Cassville, were conducted Sunday afternoon at the Cassville Baptist Church by
the pastor, Rev. W.R. Sharrock at 3 p.m.
Mrs. Kimsey was the former Miss Sally Lorena Hyde, born in
Murphy, N.C. April 27, 1876 the daughter of B.H. and Lucy LaFevere Hyde.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1933.
The deceased is survived by three sons: Arlie Kimsey, Rev. Ralph Kimsey, Cassville;
Rev. Earl Kimsey, Cartersville; a daughter, Mrs. Grady Bennett, Marietta, and a
number of grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were Harold Tribble, Ernest Matthews,
Joe Lipscomb, Lindsay Shinall, Frank Kimsey and Ray Kimsey.
Interment was in Cassville cemetery with Owen Funeral Home
in charge of the arrangements.
